We are thrilled that you are interested in joining the Livonia Amateur Radio Club, one of Michigan’s largest and most active amateur radio clubs!
We offer several membership levels, including:
- Full membership
- Student Membership
- Associate Membership (don’t need to be a licensed amateur radio operator for this level)
Please note that payment is required to submit your application. If for some reason you are unable to complete the application process after your have made your membership payment, we will of course promptly issue a refund to your credit card.
Applying for any of these membership levels is as simple as identifying the membership level that is right for you, clicking the payment button, completing the credit card transaction, and then filling out the membership application.
Most applicants will choose the Full Membership option, but be sure to read the details of each membership level to ensure you select the correct level.
Membership options all last for 1 year, after which they must be renewed. Rules regarding renewal are given below.
Full Membership

To join the Livonia Amateur Radio Club you submit the below application to be reviewed by the LARC Board. The cost to join is $30 for the first year / $31.25 (when paid online via PayPal). The $30 fee covers your membership of $20 & processing fee of $10. Thereafter it is $20 to renew your membership / $21 (when paid online via PayPal) per calendar year. Upon joining LARC you will receive a LARC badge!

If you are RENEWING an existing membership to the Livonia Amateur Radio Club, the fee is $20, does not require registration (you are already registered!), and you can use the payment buttons(s) below:
Student Membership
All the rights privileges and blessings of the Full Membership at a lower price. We realize that as a student finances are probably a lot tighter so we make it easier for you to join the LARC.
To qualify for a student membership you must meet the following criteria (TBD):

Associate Membership
There are people who are not licensed amateur radio operators and/or do not have interest in becoming licensed, but because they are so enamored with the fine upstanding (and especially humble) people who make up the LARC they wish to be part of the club and its activities. This membership levels covers those individuals, giving them access to all club benefits that do not require an Amateur Radio license. The fee for an associate membership is $20 per year.
