UPDATE 3/12: Friday 3/5 ISS Spacewalk could restore ARISS operations

March 5, Friday
ISS Expedition 64 U.S. Spacewalk #72 (Rubins and Noguchi) Spacewalk scheduled to begin at approx. 7 a.m. EST; expected to last 6 ½ hours. LIve Coverage on NASA LIVE at nasa.gov or on YouTube.
If time permits they will revisit the antenna cabling on the outside of Station and return the cable they disconnected on the previous spacewalk. If they are able to fit this task in, they will be retesting the new Kenwood in the US segment after the spacewalk is complete.

UPDATE: a quickly-scheduled EVA is added for Saturday March 13, to deal with the RF cable issues affecting both ARISS equipment and the Bartolomeo science package. Check back with ariss.org to find out if the effort was successful. Live EVA coverage on NASA TV’s various outlets on Saturday morning.
