The Hazel Park ARC is the sponsoring club, and W8HP will be the callsign working NA1SS.
The ISS flyover pass is between 1:28 and 1:38 PM EDT, 42˚ max elevation approx 1:33pm.
Use a tracking program to verify and real-time track the ISS path.
You may be able to hear the ISS direct voice downlink on 145.800MHz (FM). An HT or scanner with an antenna better than a rubber ducky may work adequately, or a VHF base or mobile rig.
The contact event from the school, including students’ questions, is to be streaming on YouTube
