LARC In The Park
The club will have LARC In The Park at Maybury State Park on July 9th to do a Parks On The Air activation. We will utilize the K8UNS callsign from 10am to 2pm. As we will only have one station operating, this will be a come & go type event. (Note: You will be required to have a MI State Park Recreation Passport. These can be purchased at the state park entry if you don’t already have one)
When:
- Saturday, July 9th 10am to 2pm (Come & go as you wish)
Where:
- Maybury State Park (49601 Eight Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48167)
- Enter through the Main Entrance off of 8 Mile, turn left at the ‘T’, and park.
- We will be in the field west of Ball Field (See Red Star on the attached map)
What:
- Parks On The Air Activation (K-1518)

- The club will participate in a POTA activation using the K8UNS call sign.
- Zach, K8ZRY, will provide his portable setup for the club to use.

- HF (SSB & Digital)
- This will be a come and go event.
- We will rotate through club members behind the mic.
