Saturday, May 9, 9:30 AM, following weekly breakfast, meet up at Bien Park for some informative ham radio knowledge.

Join us as we explore the world of QRP — amateur radio operating with low power! Many hams are surprised to learn that you don’t need a 1KW rig and a giant antenna farm to make great contacts. We’ll demonstrate compact QRP radios, portable operating setups, efficient antennas, and techniques that can help even a few watts go a long way. Whether you’re curious about portable operating, POTA, emergency communications, or just want to see what “doing more with less” is all about, come out and join the fun!

No RSVP or pre-registration is needed for our outdoor sessions. Non-members and new hams welcome!
