There has been much discussion online following the FCC’s sudden “Enforcement Advisory” relating to use of FCC-regulated spectrum and radios, by both licensed and unlicensed users, in carrying on criminal activities. [About]

Sandy, AK8KA, passes along this editorial opinion from Chris Warren and his Off Grid Ham website. “To Whom It May Concern” is an interesting and sensible view on ham radio, not at all overly politicized. Especially relevant in view of comments at our meeting about what goes out over the repeater.
