Mike Rudzki, N8MR, demonstrated amateur radio satellite communications, with focus on what can be done without costly or complex gear. He showed us a relatively simple equipment setup, as used to activate grid squares up north this past summer: Arrow antenna, Icom 7000 for uplink, SDRPlus for the downlink and a laptop running it all.
