[Thursday’s] 2-Meter Challenge was a great success! We had a total of 45 call-ins, three more than last year, therefore, three lucky hams have won the random drawing for prizes.

Thursday August 15 8 PM marks the return of the annual LARC 2-Meter Challenge. We’re going to try to beat last year’s 42 call-ins. Details and prizes will be announced in the July newsletter. Simply stated, we try to get a large number of hams to call in on the LARC Net that night. We’ll give out one prize in a random drawing from those who checked in. If we get 43 or more, we hand out three prizes. Prizes are usually Livonia restaurant gift vouchers, and a DXEngineering card. Even if you’re not a Net regular, save this date, make an entry in your To-Do’s and Reminders and Calendar apps to check in on the 15th. Tell your friends in other clubs too!
