LARC In The Park continues in its winter home at the Livonia Police Department’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC)* Come May, LitP will be back In the actual Park (Bien Park).

LITP for April will be Saturday April 19, our annual activation of N8LPD for the Michigan QSO Party, Noon-Midnight.
Besides operators, we need some assist with antenna raising Friday afternoon 4/18; and, CW & SSB operators and loggers for Saturday 4/19.

>> You MUST be a current (2025) LARC member to participate in MI QSO at the EOC, (Livonia PD requires participants to be LARC members, to be admitted to the EOC on Saturday. Desk officer will have copy of 2025 club roster).

Besides the Saturday MIQP operating event, some extra helpers are needed for antenna raising on Friday 4/18 at NOON at the Livonia PD.

LARC In The Park follows the club’s weekly Saturday morning breakfast at the Senate Coney Island on Plymouth Road west of Farmington Road. Meet in the lobby of the Livonia Police Headquarters building at 15050 Farmington Road, just south of 5 Mile Road. Antenna setup on Thursday (check w Bill AD8WA) and station rigs hookup and setup around 10 AM. MIQP event begins at Noon EDT.
