Discussion Topic: Homework from the last LARC meeting was “Winter is coming. Is your radio shack winterized?
Tighten up any guy lines, wire antennas, snug up any fasteners, and consider ice buildup. Check that you have drip loops in your feedlines, and ensure you have a good weather seal where the feedline enters the shack. If you have a need to drive any ground rods, now is the time to do so while the ground is still thawed. From prior homework topics, you should have build plans for replacing antennas should you lose any in harsh winter weather.
