LARC participates every year in the Michigan QSO Party. This year, it’s Saturday April 20 from Noon to Midnight, at the Livonia Police Dept. Emergency Operations Center. Our EOC station call is N8LPD.
MIQP is a fun operating event that all club members are able to take part in. For newcomers, it’s a low-key introduction to “radiosport” or contesting, and for some, an opportunity to operate on unfamiliar HF SSB and CW bands. This event is open only to LARC members.
Those coming to the event MUST CHECK IN and OUT at the Police Dept. front desk, and present a valid ID.
